I like to try out products that can have more than one function. It is always fun to think outside of the box with something and imagine its capabilities beyond its intended use. Thinking creatively is a helpful skill when undertaking any home organizing project. I have put this skill to use with plastic totes, drawer organizers and even wall shelves (which I used to create a climbing system for my indoor cat).

cedar tie rack

Recently I went searching for a tie rack for my husband. He is an avid collector of neck ties and owns just about any style you can image. From funky vintage neckties to funny themed ones, he covers the whole gamut of neck tie couture. I decided to get him a cedar tie rack by Woodlore because it has a simple and highly functional design. We actually combined multiple tie racks side by side along the wall to accommodate his whole collection. Even though this wall mount tie rack has a great capacity (twenty four) he owns more ties than the average man.
Once I saw what a great job this wall mounted neck tie rack did at organizing his fashion accessories, I got to thinking about other places I could use it around the house. My first thought was necklaces. Aha! I can’t stand how my necklaces get tangled in the jewelry box. And having them hanging would make selection so much easier. And then I thought, Well why not bracelets too? Done. Then I realized I could use one of these wall racks to hang garden hand tools in the shed. They already have little notches for hanging, but I made loops with leather rope to give them more freedom to dangle.
Once you get the hang of it, the practice of “repurposing” objects can be a lot of fun! Start looking around your home, at your favorite organizers, and imagine them being useful in a new way that you never saw before.

It only takes a few must have accessories for a man to look well dressed and ready for the work day. Keeping men’s accessories organized and ready to wear only requires a few key storage accessories. Preventing ties and belts from getting bent out of shape means they are always ready to wear, so nothing looks out of place.

Electronic Tie Rack with Ionizer

Ties are the first accessory that everyone notices and keeping them from getting wrinkled is the key to looking freshly pressed. The Electronic Tie Rack with Ionizer is the ultimate in tie storage, with space for up to seventy ties! A built in ionizer helps keep ties fresh and the light also makes it easy to find the right tie. Don’t have seventy ties? Use the other slots for belts, so they hang straight and don’t get bent out of shape.

To keep watches in good shape look for watch storage that includes a pillow to support the wrist strap. This is especially important for leather watches that can easily get worn out from poor storage. Storage ranges from watch boxes with space for a larger collection of watches, or a men’s valet with a place for a favorite watch and additional compartments for other items. Individual sections are the best way to keep cufflinks paired up and tie clips from getting scratched.

Keeping a charging tray on your nightstand ensures you’ll remember to keep must have electronics fully charged and ready to go. These trays also often provide storage for everything from loose change to your wallet.

Take care of your accessory investment by investing in just a little bit of proper storage. Keeping the closet organized is also the best way to ensure you can get ready quickly in the morning. The better your storage, the longer your accessories will last.

My husband has a huge collection of neck ties. I have to admit, I get a little jealous of him for being able to accessorize and jazz up his outfit in this way. His neck ties range from beautiful vintage designer neck ties, to wacky themed neck ties, to ones that make a statement. He has been collecting them his entire adult life, and almost all of them come with a story. A great find at a thrift store, a neck tie that was passed down from his grandfather, the various neck ties I have given him for birthday and anniversary presents. I would say that in his collection of neckties, he has a little over eighty five. And whenever I need to find a great gift for him, I know that there are endless neck ties available on the web and they will probably never run out of ideas! At the rate he’s going, he’ll probably be able to open a neck tie museum someday.

Tie - O - Matic Motorized Tie Rack

Once my husband’s neck tie collection started getting too big for the average neck tie rack, I had to start looking for a more efficient way of organizing them. Not only because the tie rack was running out of space, but because it started getting too hard for him to find the one he wanted. And different occasions call for different neck ties.
So for his birthday, a couple of years ago, I got him this really cool Tie-O-Matic motorized tie rack. It can hold sixty four neck ties, which at the time was about all he had so it was enough. He has since added a second tie spinning rack to the closet rod to accommodate his ever growing collection. He was a fan of it right from the start, because it went up so easily and made a huge improvement in his morning routine. Selecting a neck tie has never been so easy for him; all he has to do is push a button and they spin around until he sees the one he wants. I never knew there could be a better gift for him than a neck tie – a motorized spinning tie rack was!

6 hook wall-mounted coat and hat rack

The ends of each of the six coat hooks feature a white knob style stopper that serves two functions. First, they reduce the risk of items falling off the hooks and onto the floor. And second, they provide a beautiful accent to the chrome frame for visual appeal. As a bonus, the knobs also protect fabrics from rips, tears and snags. Wall mounted hook racks can be used all over the home and office for a neat and tidy home. In the entryway or mudroom, a coat rack keeps jackets and hats off the floor and on the rack where they belong. In the closet, wall hooks can hold everything from scarves and coats and even can be used as a tie rack. To keep the kids rooms clean, a wall mounted coat rack is a quick and easy to use tool for them. Just make sure to mount it at their height, not yours! And finally, in the garage, a wall mounted rack is perfect for sports equipment, snow gear and baseball caps. This wall coat rack from Stacks and Stacks is a great choice for shared living and roommate situations, or for big families and even for singles! The timeless design will work well for years and years! Whatever your storage needs in the home, this 6 hook wall mounted coat rack can help out!

I’m a powerful business executive, so I know just how important it is to look my best. My clothing needs to be wrinkle free and immaculate. Keeping business attire in incredible shape can sometimes try your patience, and organizing these clothes can be cumbersome. It doesn’t have to be that way.

I have a suggestion for those working in the business sector, with a closet full of business attire: consider a fine mens valet. They are functional, stylish, and best of all, they make the day to day process of preparing fro your day at the office all the more simple. You can hang suits, belts, pants, trousers, socks, almost every facet of your business attire from a valet. They remain organized, free of wrinkles, and ready for you when you need them.

mens valets

I purchased a fine model online from a dependable online retailer, Stacks and Stacks, but you can fine a mens valet almost anywhere. The model I chose features dependability, and a classic look. It handily fits into my closet, and every night I can set out my items to wear for the next morning. It really helps speed me along to that first meeting, knowing I look my best, and didn’t need to waste time selecting clothing for the day.

What is a nice side benefit to a well designed and fully-functional valet is a seat. yes, having a seat whilst placing shoes upon your feet is a real comfort. You may also find it convenient to place you wallet, jewelry, or other personal items into the myriad shelves or holding areas of the valet.

As a top executive, I needed to find a dependable valet for my clothing. I discovered a perfect model online, and utilized the valet to make my clothing storage and organization easier.

You can too.

Belts and ties, watches and cufflinks, with so few men’s accessories it only takes few key storage pieces to keep your closet in order. A men valet is a big help in getting dressed in the morning. With compartments for storing a watch or cufflinks finding everything you need is a cinch.

Tie Racks for Closets

Tie racks for closets are a must since they help prevent ties from getting wrinkled. Choose a rack as high tech or traditional as you like. Designs range from wall mounted peg tie racks to hanger designs that can be moved from closet to closest. Place a wall mounted tie rack on the back of a closet door for easy access and to save space. Any lover of ties will be thrilled with a state of the art, rotating tie rack that makes it easy to peruse their collection with a built in light that makes the color of each tie easy to see.

Organizing ties by color makes coordinating your tie to your shirt easy. Another way to arrange your ties is by occasion so that everyday work ties are easy to grab, while dressier ties are safely stored. Whether you have a few ties or a large collection it’s easy to find a rack that can hold them all. With the right tie rack you’ll never end up with a closet floor or drawer littered with ties again.

These racks can also be used to store other accessories such as belts. Every man’s wardrobe should have at least three belts, one in black, one in brown to coordinate with shoes and a more casual belt in a neutral color. Combining a tie and belt rack is a good way to keep both in good shape and save closet space. With a few easy steps you can get your closet in shape! Find Tie Racks for Closets at Stacks and Stacks!

I’m a business man that wears a tie every day. Naturally, I am very busy and do not have the time to sift through all my ties in the morning before important 5:30 AM meetings. I just want a tie rack that allows me to find my tie quickly and efficiently.
As a high-powered business man, I have a large closet. Sometimes I put some of my ties in one storage area, and put my other ties elsewhere. This can get very confusing for me in the wee hours of the morning, when all I really want to do is find my Donald Trump graphic tie. (I wear it on days that I fire people. I just call them in and point at the tie.)

Tie - O - Matic Motorized Tie Rack

As a wealthy, high-powered business man, I have a lot of ties. And when I say “a lot of ties” I really mean it. They call me the tie king. In fact, by my last count I have 63 ties in total! Luckily for me, my co-workers saved up and bought me the incredible tie - o - matic motorized tie rack for my 25 year anniversary with the company. It is able to hold 64 ties and eight belts, which really makes my life more organized and my closet storage more sensible. Just a push of a button and my ties are rotating smoothly, allowing me to pick the perfect tie to top off my ensemble. The light also comes in handy before my early morning meetings, allowing me to see my ties in the dark.

The only problem is, when I got home my wife got me two more ties, putting me at the 65 tie mark. It was just too hard to pick which tie I would exclude from my motorized tie rack; I love them all so much! I decided I would find out where to get such a revolutionary product. I asked my friends where they purchased such a convenient and useful tie rack, and they told me about purchasing it at Stacksandstacks.com.

Now I have two motorized tie racks and naturally, I had to fill up the second one. I now am the proud owner of 128 awesome ties! I am the tie king.

It only takes a few essentials to keep a well dressed mans closet in style. By properly storing your suits and accessories you can cut down on trips to the dry cleaners and save time getting ready in the morning. With the right hangers, shoe rack and men’s valet any closet can be well organized.

When properly stored suits only need to be dry cleaned a few times a year. Make sure that suit jackets are hung on a padded or formed hanger that won’t leave behind hanger marks. Make sure that hangers are evenly spaced with about an inch between each garment for proper air flow. Dress shirts should never go in the dryer, hang them up to dry and then iron while still slightly damp to get a smooth look.

Storing your tie collection comes down to finding the right tie rack. With the Wall Mounted 30 Tie Organizer from Stacks and Stacks, finding the tie you’re looking for is easy. Individual tie hangers allow you to easily organize your tie collection. Specially designed tie hooks ensure that ties stay flat. If you can’t hang up a tie right away make sure to roll it up rather than folding it which can cause creases.

Keep cufflinks paired up with a men’s valet that has small compartments for storing them together. If you have a watch with a leather wristband look for a valet designed for storing watches with cushions that support the band and keep it from getting out of shape.

When it comes to storing shoes, especially leather ones don’t wear them two days in a row so that they have time to dry out. An over the door rack is a good way to store shoes since it allows them to air out and saves space at the same time.

If there is one thing in this world I can never figure out, it is how to properly store my ties. They are always falling on the floor, getting wadded up in my dresser, or just seem to disappear altogether. I tried different strategies but every time I ended up with a bunch of sloppy, wrinkly ties that were falling apart at the seams.
My apartment has the perfect closet; it is 35 square feet and offers tons of storage. Everything is in its right place, I never have a problem storing large items. Ties are unique in that they don’t take up much closet storage space, but they are so shifty and falling all the time! And getting stepped on! I had to put an end to this tie travesty.

Wooden Peg 36 Neck Tie Rack

I fired up the old iMac, got on the inter-webs, and landed on one of my favorite sites, StacksandStacks.com. As I browsed the site I thought of the days when I would be able to hang up to 36 ties on one single rack, specifically designated for ties and ties only! (Okay I suppose I will let my wife hang her necklaces from time to time).
I finally found the perfect tie storage solution: the wooden peg 36 neck tie rack. This baby is able to store every single one of my ties, and mounts right on the wall. The natural color of the wood was the perfect complement to the light hardwood floor in my closet.

The next day as I walked into my office with a pristine tie wrapped around my neck and dangling over my shirt, my boss walked up to. “Son I’d like to talk to you for a moment,” he said firmly to me. As I confusedly approached his desk, he shut the door. “I always thought of you as a solid worker son,” he told me in his rough, whiskey drenched voice, “but I never envisioned you as a leader of men. After seeing that glorious, immaculate tie you are wearing, I have decided to promote you to CEO.”

As they say, sometimes all it takes is a space saving tie rack.

Picture this if you will: it’s minutes before you have to head out to a fancy anniversary dinner, a career making meeting, or a get together with the in-laws, and you’re stuck on a tie-fishing expedition in your own closet. Or better yet, you have all ties in one place: space-efficiently stuffed in your dresser drawer together with your belts, socks and underwear; now that you found the one acceptable, spouse and GQ approved choice, it looks like it went through a baler, but you can’t iron that kind of fabric blend. Or even better still, you tried to iron it and scorched an avant-garde statement right onto the most noticeable part. Does any of it sound familiar? If so, don’t despair, you are not alone.

Millions of men around the globe often find themselves sending rays of primordial hatred to the long perished neckwear inventor. Not that you despise ties per se, but the sheer agony that the social protocol bestows upon you makes you dream fondly of a simpler time when clubbing a beast with a stick was enough to gain all the recognition one can ever amass. If, on the other hand, you have never ended up in a kind of predicament depicted above, you either are a highly efficient entity with a possibly alien genome factor, or you have managed to conquer the chaos with the help of a closet organizer, such as this Light-up Rotating Tie and Belt Rack from Stacks and Stacks. Few things are more fun to watch than your ties and belts going on an illuminated merry-go-round, when all you have to do is pick a winner. Great for businessmen, executives, federal agents and entertainment moguls alike, it will also make an exciting holiday gift for your fashion-forward uncle or father in-law. That said, your significant other will definitely enjoy a more peaceful, collected you when it’s time for another family reunion.
